Treatment Coordinator & Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

With 15 years of experience in dentistry, Carolyn brings kindness, compassion, and hands-on skill to our team. She loves helping patients achieve their dental goals in a comfortable, stress-free environment. As a treatment coordinator, Carolyn works hard to create affordable, customized plans that fit each patient’s budget—offering flexible payment options to make care accessible.

Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, BBQs, boating, and camping on the beach. She’s passionate about health and wellness, enjoys nightly walks, and loves tackling DIY home improvement projects. Carolyn is also a proud mom of four and dog mom to two adorable pups.

Nikki

Registered Dental Hygienist

Nikki has been part of the dental world for 9 years and a proud Forest Ridge team member for 8 of those! She’s worked with the practice’s previous owners and alongside Dr. Altig for the last 2 years. Nikki truly loves educating her patients—it’s super rewarding for her to share tips that help keep smiles healthy and bright.

Known for her gentle touch and calming vibe, Nikki makes every visit feel easy and relaxed. She also has an amazing memory, which helps her build real, lasting connections with her patients—so you’re always chatting with a familiar, friendly face.

When she’s not at the office, Nikki is all about the great outdoors—camping, hiking, kayaking—you name it! At home, she’s a foodie who loves cooking and hanging out with her three adorable beagle pups. Oh, and did we mention? She’s a huge Harry Potter fan, so expect a little magic when you see her!

Seli

Dental Assistant

Seli has been a dental assistant for 6 years and brings a calm, supportive energy to every patient interaction. What she loves most about her role is helping patients feel at ease during their visit—it’s truly rewarding for her to create a space where people feel cared for and comfortable. She enjoys working hands-on during procedures and loves being part of a collaborative team alongside Dr. Altig. Helping patients feel more confident in their smile and oral health is what makes her job so meaningful.

Outside of the office, Seli is all about connection—she cherishes time spent with friends and family and believes those relationships are what matter most. She’s also an avid hiker and adventurer who loves exploring national parks, museums, and historical sites. Whether she’s summiting a mountain or learning something new, Seli is always chasing experiences that offer fresh perspectives and inspiration.

Madison

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

With nearly 10 years in the dental field, Madison brings a caring touch and strong clinical skills to every patient she assists. She loves helping people feel at ease and especially enjoys surgical procedures, where she can play a hands-on role in improving patient outcomes.

Madison is passionate about dentistry and dedicated to making each visit smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, paddle boarding, and traveling—with Italy topping her list of favorite destinations. She’s also a proud dog mom, a sourdough hobbyist, and always up for a great meal with family and friends.

Shanon

Co-Owner & Director of Operations

As Dr. Altig’s wife and co-owner of Forest Ridge Dental Health & Wellness, Shanon is truly the heart of the practice. With years of experience in the dental world—and as an ICF Certified Professional Coach to dentists and their teams—she brings a unique blend of leadership, compassion, and insight to both patient care and team development.

Shanon is passionate about creating an environment where patients feel genuinely safe, heard, and cared for. She’s equally dedicated to supporting the team, encouraging growth, positivity, and a strong sense of purpose throughout the office. Whether it’s streamlining systems, motivating the team with her daily quotes, or ensuring patients feel at home, her impact is felt in every corner of the practice.

Outside the office, Shanon enjoys spending time with Dr. Altig and their three daughters—Quinlyn, Anja, and Chloe. She loves traveling, relaxing outdoors by the water, and hosting friends and family (especially when it involves trying out a new recipe!). Her warmth, positivity, and people-first mindset are at the core of everything Forest Ridge stands for.

Quin

Co-Owner, Registered Dental Hygienist & Marketing Director

Quin has been a dental hygienist for over 11 years and began her career in dentistry in 2009 working alongside her dad, Dr. Altig. As co-owner and marketing director, she brings both clinical expertise and creative vision to Forest Ridge Dental.

Passionate about creating a calm, caring experience, Quin understands dental anxiety firsthand and takes pride in helping patients feel safe and comfortable. Behind the scenes, she leads the practice’s marketing—sharing its values and heart with the community.

Outside the office, Quin enjoys lake life with her husband Stephen and their two children. Whether boating or spending time with family, she’s all about making lasting memories.

Stephen

Co-Owner, Marketing & Maintenance Coordinator

He’s passionate about creating a welcoming space for patients and staff. Whether bringing new ideas to life or fixing what’s needed, Stephen’s dedication comes from his love of family and community.

When he’s not at work, Stephen enjoys his time with his wife Quin and their fun-loving kids, followed by outdoor time near the water. He lives by the motto, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind,” and brings that kindness to all he does.
